I found that making an action learning plan didn't really work for me, I didn't know what projects would come along for me to work on, let alone how long they would take and how they would tie in with the other things I was doing, I just knew that they would, and they did.
What I wanted to learn
At the beginning of the diploma as the Rejuicynator began to take shape I thought that I would be working with it full time and for a long time, but I always wanted to work on land based designs because that is where my passion lies.(More so than with funding bids and report writing-although the skills I learned here are almost certain to prove useful in the future.)
What I wanted to learn
- To know how to do a thorough design, to know that I hadn't left anything out.
- To be in a position where people would be likely to hire me to do permaculture based designs both land based and otherwise.
- To be able to gain enough knowledge and experience to work abroad with my knowledge of permaculture, helping to design and implement projects.
